I came up with the idea behind Advocaid while buried in files and deadlines at a busy law firm. Like a lot of lawyers, I wanted to give back and feel like I was contributing to something bigger, but let’s be honest: between billable hours and packed calendars, finding the right way to help is hard. We miss out on things we truly care about, only to be asked to jump into causes that don’t really fit. I kept thinking, there needs to be a better way to connect busy professionals with meaningful ways to give back — without making it another time consuming task.
Advocaid is designed to take the guesswork and heavy lifting out of doing good. It’s a platform built to help people (especially those of us in fast-paced, high-pressure careers) make an impact that fits our passions, our skills, and our schedule.
